Folkcraft customers speak out!
from 2657 reviewsJust finished hand making a bridge and nut for an old Oscer Schmidt Mountain Dulcimer. I added a new set of these strings, tuned it to D,G,D,D and it sounds great. Nice tone with good clarity. Whomever gets this instrument will be quite pleased. Thank you for a fine product

Excelling resource for teaching beginners.
I recommend it. Clear and concise.
This pocket book of tab is the perfect size to capture everyday melody ideas.
This book is a great resource for beginning dulcimer players, or anyone who wants to learn more about music theory.
I love learning these Hawaiian mele for dulcimer! The online audio is helpful for me, as well.
This multi-pack of Herdim picks is a great value, and perfect for experimenting to see which pick you like best.
The Ball End Mountain Dulcimer strings I purchased for my Folkcraft Walnut Teardrop are high-quality, fairly priced, nicely packaged and sound great what’s not to like?!?
Folkcraft’s chrome strap buttons are well-made, well-priced, easy to install, and a shiny, new addition to my dulcimer. No more lap-dancing dulcimers for me!
“Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag!” The small-size dulcimer bag embroidered with the “Folkcraft” logo I purchased on sale is extremely well-made, a perfect fit for a Dulcimer Factory Ellipse Dulcimer, and a total steal for $23! Couldn’t be more pleased.
Very handy, works well
Dave is definitely worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to receive his excellent teaching. I have taken many seminars from him and have not ever been disappointed. His demeanor and knowledge of the dulcimer is gratifying to say the least. In summation, well worth the time and money for this opportunity.
My order was immediately filled, arrived within a few days and works perfectly. It is pretty as well. Thanks so much.
The case is very well constructed. The zippers are very sturdy and very high quality. The stitching is very well done. I love the Logo and the overall look and feel of the case.
Buy strings by the dozen. Duh! What a good idea! Why did I wait so long?
I am not an early adopter of ANYTHING. Also, we recently downsized and I had "thinned the herd" a bit and never thought I'd buy another dulcimer. However, when I heard about the DulciVox, I knew I had to try it. I play mainly mellow, finger-picked music, and was looking for something I could play in a health care setting (where people tend to be hard of hearing) without having to use an amp. And I just wanted a big, full, mellow sound with lots of sustain., because that's what I like. My DulciVox arrived last week, and I love it. The VSL (25") and the action are perfect. Got a 1/2 fret (but not fully chromatic) and am so glad I did. The DulciVox is very versatile; great for both strumming and finger picking, in both the quiet setting and in a jam.
