Folkcraft Instruments is easy to contact. There are several ways to reach us.

Our dulcimer workshop is near the small town of Rock, Michigan. Rock is in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, between the towns of Escanaba and Marquette.

Our wood shop is accessed via an easement through private land, so the facility is not open to the public. To try out one of our instruments you'll want to make an appointment to  meet with Folkcraft's owner, Richard Ash. Make a hotel reservation in Escanaba, or Marquette, and set up a time for Richard to meet you in the lobby. Or set up your RV at a local campground, and Richard will bring you some dulcimers to audition.

Our workshop does not get mail, UPS, or FedEx deliveries. We are too far off of the public road, so we have a private mail box at the Escanaba, Michigan UPS store. Here's our address for shipping and mailing:

At this address, we securely receive US Mail (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS), and FedEx deliveries. We pick up our parcels a few times a week. Any instruments that you send us for repair are safe and secure, indoors, under lock and key. No worries about rain, snow, or theft!

Please do not drive to the above address, hoping to visit the workshop. This address is not our actual wood shop - this is a private mail box address where we receive our deliveries.
