Excellent Instrument and Wonderful tone

The Baritone DulciVox Pro is a beautiful instrument to behold. The craftsmanship is outstanding. The sound of this Baritone is rich and warm. I'm enjoying learning the new AEA tuning, and learned I can put a capo on the 3rd fret to get DAD tuning, or just play at the 3rd fret for the same tuning. I've found that Pixie Wrights' AEA Baritone Dulcimer Chord Chart (also available at Folkcraft) has been a big help in my learning curve.

Just arrived

Beautiful, simply beautiful.
My instrument arrived this week, and it felt like Christmas in June. At 73 years old, I decided it was time to learn an instrument and keep my mind active and engaged. I couldn't be more excited to begin this journey with such a wonderful instrument.
A special suggestion: give Richard a call. He is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping you make the right choice. His advice was invaluable throughout the process.
If you've been thinking about learning an instrument, don't wait. The time is now!

The DulciVox Pro is the bomb.

This instrument blows my mind. Oh what a fingerpicking gem this is. The volume and sustain is crazy out of this world. Of course all the transaction and shipping details went smoothly. The instrument arrived in perfect condition and timely. I love it!

Folkcraft's new DulciVox Pro. WOW !!

The evolution of the mountain dulcimer continues with Folkcraft's latest product - the DulciVox. This is a full-bodied dulcimer with a truly big voice and amazing sustain across the entire fretboard. Fitted with a Sitka spruce top, it almost feels like a small guitar. The "Pro" version comes with a choice of Fishman pickups (active or passive) and in my case, a fully chromatic fretboard. Want a high-quality dulcimer that will hold its own when played in a room with other instruments? Here it is. Folkcraft's new DulciVox gets my highest recommendation.
