Folkcraft carries a wide range of mountain dulcimer luthier supplies. Our finished scroll heads will add a touch of class to your dulcimer, and save you on time. This solid northern cherry scroll head is made for hourglass shaped dulcimers.

This scroll head requires a 1 1/2" wide fretboard and a 1 3/4" side height. Our northern cherry side sets and fretboards are available in these sizes, and will be compatible with this scroll head.

This head has six holes pre-drilled for tuners (any of our open-gear tuners will work great). There are three tuner holes in each side of the head.

Arrived in good order. Nice finish both sides, Uniform thickness. Enough for two stick dulcimers. Will order again.

Dulcimer wood I used was very nice.

I used the Black Walnut for top & bottom the sides were done in the Northern Cherry as was the Scroll Head and the Finger Board. i have a good time building your Dulcimers. Thanks for everything. Marc Nordahl
