Our most affordable ready-to-ship dulcimer, this D Series is built entirely of poplar on our larger California-style body (2 1/4-inch sides). The bigger body gives it a fuller, more guitar-like tone than a traditional dulcimer, and poplar keeps it light on your lap. Three strings in DAD at a 25-inch scale make it an easy first serious instrument. Built by Cheyenne Hale.
