Black walnut for the top, back and sides gives this resonator dulcimer a deep, warm voice, and its wide 12-inch body adds volume and fullness. A Galax performance back, a padauk fretboard veneer, a traditional scroll head and chrome open-gear tuners. Three or four strings (try a doubled melody string, or high, low or dual action), in standard DAD or set up as a baritone or bass, at a 22 3/4-inch scale, finished to your order. String setup
Since this resonator has a scroll head, we can have either three or four strings installed for you. Try one of the strings doubled up (probably the melody string), or go with our most popular resonator string set-ups - 3 strings high action, 3 strings low action, or 3 strings with a special nut that allows both high and low actions.
Standard DAD tuning is the most popular setup, but this dulcimer can be set up as a baritone or as a bass, if you prefer.
