"Dreadnought" Style 6 String Acoustic Guitar Plan

The plans were shipped quickly, arrived in perfect shape, and just what I was looking for. They are 1:1 scale, so I can measure and trace right off them. I'm glad I got them from Folkcraft.

I’ve had this dream of making a tenor guitar since a kid from the sixties, well a 19 year old that lost part of my left index finger in and accident working for the Union Pacific Railroad. I made an outline of my own design on poster board with 1 inch grid. I still have the cutout after all these years, all I have to do is compare it with the Folkcraft design. I was excited to receive the plan, hoping there would be more than just the body outline. I was pleased that the plan had all the necessary diagrams for the neck, bolt on or dovetail method, fretboard and fret spacing, body size and bracing locations, lining type, bridge designs, and body side taper. Looks like quite a bit of information is included to successfully make the guitar, which I plan to do after I complete two ukuleles, a baritone and a tenor.

I feel the price for the plan is quite reasonable and and worth every penny.
