Wonderful learning tool!

“Going Home” is more than a collection of tunes and arrangements; it is a valuable workbook that explains right- and left-hand technique and also teaches how to play natural and artificial harmonics. Most tunes are presented in two or three positions and include an introduction and an ending. By imitating the ideas in this book, the dulcimer player can learn to create his own arrangements. Wonderful tool!

How can you not Love Dave Haas!

Love book. I’ve always enjoyed listening and learning from Dave Haas ever since I took my first class from him at KMWW in 2019. As always Dave lays out the music with complete instruction on how to play. I have found this approach extremely helpful from how you hold you hands to how to handle the pick. This is a consistent approach in all his books. You can never go wrong with Dave Haas!
