These Folkcraft brand baritone dulcimer strings sound amazing and are designed for the baritone models, which are typically tuned in the key of A, or a 4th below a standard dulcimer.

The "BW" stands for Bronze-Wound. Bronze wound strings have been the "standard" for decades. They have a steel core, with a bronze alloy winding. Bronze wound strings are warm, compared to the brass (roller wound) and stainless-steel wound strings. They do tend to have more finger squeak, though, and they don't last as long as the stainless steel strings.
