This #49 drill bit is the perfect size for our anchor pins - loose enough that you can tap the pins into place, but they won't fall out once they're installed. This drill bit is .0730 inches in diameter.
We use this size bit in the Folkcraft shop when installing anchor pins on our mountain dulcimers. Anchor pins are stocked in both four-packs and bags of one hundred pieces.
It’s nice to have the right size bit and not have to guess if you have the right size.
