Here's a single bronze wound string, with a ball end. American made, and the best quality available from any source.

This particular string is .046" (46/1000 of one inch) in diameter, and is sometimes called .046BW. Each string has a total length of 41 inches (41"), and has approximately 36" of that total length covered with the bronze winding.

Clavichord Strings
