I have one dulcimer that hangs from a leather cord and a scroll head that did not fit. I tied a leather cord to it to hang. I turned the holder so it is in a "U" shape on the wall. Now both dulcimers can use it with no issues. Very sturdy, attractive and versatile!
These hangers are designed very well. It looks nice whether there is an instrument hanging from it or not. Holds my new Folkroots dulcimer and our guitars with no issues.
Wall hanger works well, but a secure strap across holder or mechanism like Hercules uses would be more secure.
These String Swing instrument hangers are the best. Every one of my dulcimers, Folkcraft and other, work well with these. They allow me to rotate which ones are out and ready to grab and play.
