Stick Dulcimer

Steve has been working on a "stick" dulcimer - mostly neck, with a small body, held like a guitar/ukulele/dulcilele. The main parts are done enough to see how things will fit together.

Neck. Maple (two pieces) with padauk center inlay strip. You can see one hole (for a tuner) on this side.

Body. Walnut back and sides, Sitka spruce soundboard, Celtic shield tone holes. Still fuzzy/rough around the edges. (No sanding has been done, yet.)

And here's the finished instrument (now it is ready for me/Richard to apply lacquer).
