Holiday Custom Orders & Dulcimer Kits

With the Christmas season upon us, we are hard at work trying to finish off the last of the custom instruments folks have ordered this year. We have double neck dulcimers, resonator dulcimers, 2 different hourglass shape dulcimers, 3 different teardrop shape dulcimers, 4 different ukulele sizes, hammered dulcimers, psalteries and kanteles... and I think we have a little of everything left to get out in the next few weeks.

In this one picture you can see three different body shapes of dulcimer and six different kinds of wood!

Another product we make are kits for folks to build their own dulcimers. This last week, we packaged up a lot of these kits. We laid out a bunch of tables in our concert hall and went down the line with our checklists. It took a long time (and we have a few more varieties of kits to make more of yet), but we should have enough of these made to get through the holiday season.
