The ultimate set of dulcimer strings. This is very nearly the string set we've been installing on new Folkcraft dulcimers since 2012. The only difference from our stock 4-string set is that this set has a slightly heavier bass string (a .026RW).

Strings in this set:
Melody strings (2) .011
Middle string: .013
Bass string: .026RW

The "RW" stands for Roller-Wound. The roller wound strings have a steel core, with a brass winding. The brass winding has been flattened with rollers, creating a warm sound with very little string squeak.

Excellent customer, great product

I ordered the 3-pak of strings for my lap dulcimer. All was going well until I miss wound the treble string and it broke. I had scraped up enough money to order them, and was heartbroken. I am a senior, caregiver and on a fixed, ltd. imcome. They promptly replaced it for free. Thank you Folkcraft!
