Folkcraft® Plain Steel String, Ball End, .015

I use these strings on my bowed psaltery. They are easy to work with and give an exceptional tone when bowed.

I bought a pack of 12 "Folkcraft® Plain Steel Strings with Loop Ends to use on our DAA Lap Dulcimers as middle strings. As far as I am concerned, steel strings are pretty much the same, but I have found the Folkcraft gives good, prompt service and good prices on bulk packs.

I've built quite a few dulcimers over the years ... because I enjoy building. But I also play. Some of them get sold, some given as gifts. I always include an extra set of strings with the "sells" and "gives". and those I play obviously will need a string change periodically.
Bulk string purchase is the way to go. A money saver and I'm never without strings (making them a time saver, too. Same great quality as those sold in sets.
