MY FAVORITE

Have used many picks over the years and have finally found "the one" for me - the Herdim yellows. I use them on acoustic guitars. Really like the size and grip, but even more the soft attack on the strings, almost as if not using a pick at all. Yet they are punchy enough to deliver the response I'm looking for (not too hard, not too flexible). Highly recommend them. Though not absolutely necessary, I modify my picks with an edge of epoxy putty, molded to my finger size and shape, with a dot of fingernail polish to tell me which side is up - they work a treat for me.

Love the picks. Easy to hold and variety of thicknesses for picking and strumming.

Love these pics

I’ve tried using several different styles of pics since I started playing the dulcimers ago. At a workshop, years back, I listened to the pic I had been using, and a friend gave me one of these little yellow marvels. I love the clean crisp sound they offer and that each point of the triangle has a different thickness and can adjust the sound of the strike on the string. Since then I have used nothing else and will continue to keep plenty in stoc to offer a friend who may need one.

I like these picks very much!

I like these picks a lot. I especially appreciate their textured surface because I have had trouble keeping picks between my thumb and forefinger and the textured surface seems to alleviate that. I could not detect any difference in thiskness or stiffness between the three colors. I used a digital caliper guage on the very tips of the "I" point on all three colors and the reading was a consistent .4 mm. After I had taken the battery out of the caliper and put it away, I tried to compare the stiffness of the three tips ("I", "II", and "III") and maybe it was my imagination, but the I seemed more flexible than the II and the III. I am not curious enough to get my caliper back out to check this.
