January 16, 2010 - Winter Namm Show, Day 3
All the normal taxi service cars from our hotel were in use when we left for the convention center this morning. So we traveled in style to start off day 3 of The NAMM Show.
Richard and Stephen take turns on a limited edition Honduras mahogany Folkcraft inside our stretched limo.
This is Stephen's last day in the booth. And I think he made it count.
Mr. Seifert trying not to get too choked up before leaving tomorrow morning.
The show was exceptionally busy today. Big crowds, big names, and the volume at times went to 11. One of our neighbors specialized in heavy metal guitars. So here we were, this little booth with acoustic instruments, and we kept up the whole time. Those Fishman Loudbox amps can really pack a punch when you need them to. We held our ground volume-wise, and didn't overpower the ears at all. Even the "sound police" who monitor the halls for exceeding volume levels seemed impressed (and at times, relieved) by the soothing tunes coming from the Folkcraft booth.
And on a final note, I turned the ripe age of 33 today. A little older, a little wiser, and thrilled to be a part of it all.
