During an eventful Summer NAMM show in Nashville, Richard and I were approached by Roger Zimish in regards to his friend and band mate, Bing Futch, and a possible endorsement agreement. Bing has played on Folkcrafts and FolkRoots the majority of his professional duclimer career, so needless to say interest was immediately sparked.

Once back home from Nashville, it doesn't take long for Bing to come in contact us. I'm the first one to speak with him over the phone, and I'm pretty sure I made a new friend about 3 minutes into the conversation. Seriously, this guy is great. And after a little time and a few conversations on the phone with Richard, it became official: Bing Futch exclusively endorses Folkcraft Instruments.

Bing has garnered much excitement in the dulcimer and folk music community. And why not? He's a great performer, insightful teacher, and an all around nice guy. He certainly is "taking the dulcimer to new heights," and I'm looking forward to seeing not only what he can add to Folkcraft, but to the dulcimer scene itself.

I, and the rest of us here at Folkcraft, are genuinely thrilled to have this master of the mountain dulcimer as an endorser and friend.
