Packing Up Our Traveling Festival Display

With Richard heading off to a festival today, one of the jobs that had to get done was prepping our travelling display. We have 10 rolling units that are each 4 foot by 2 foot. We have some set up for mountain dulcimer, some for hammer dulcimer, some for ukulele, one for accessories, one for cases, and one for sheet music (and they are all reconfigurable as needed).

Some of our displays as I'm organizing which units will be taken to the festival.

A mountain dulcimer display.

A ukulele display. For traveling, we pad the instruments with foam and strap them in place.

Our accessory display.

Each of the displays has storage in the back for additional product.

When the displays are ready, we cover them to protect them (and the product) from the elements.

Finally, the display units are loaded onto our trailer and strapped into place. For this particular festival, we only have room for four of our displays, so our trailer is mostly empty. We do need to be careful where we strap the units in to keep the trailer balanced
